Greek Chicken and Rice Bowl

As seen on River City Live here is the recipe for our Greek Chicken and Rice bowl, made with our Greek flavor Summa Salts.

Step 1:

Start by cooking your favorite type of rice. While the rice cooks season 1 lb chicken tenders with Greek Summa Salts, 1 Tbs olive oil, juice from ¼ of a lemon a bowl and black pepper to taste.

Step 2:

Chop the cucumber, tomatoes, olives, and green onion. Season the cucumbers and tomatoes with Greek Summa Salts.

Step 3:

In a large skillet, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and when it’s hot throw in the chicken. Let it cook for several minutes before flipping it over. This will allow it to brown and get a light crust on the outside.

Step 4:

Once the chicken is cooked through remove it from the heat and cut in preparation to fill the bowls.

Step 5:

Fill the bowl with rice and then top it with some of the chicken, cucumbers, red onion, tomatoes, kalamata olives, crumbled feta, and a dollop of store bought tzatziki.
